Mr. Higginbotham is the chief executive officer of Integral Systems. He was formerly an active individual investor and the founder of SpaceVest providing strategic and management guidance to a number of early-stage and middle market enterprises. Higginbotham was the founder and former managing general partner of SpaceVest Capital (now Redshift Ventures), an institutional venture capital organization managing approximately $270 million of investments in more than 50 high technology companies. He was formerly chairman, now director emeritus, of the Space Foundation, an international non-profit organization. Higginbotham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
